Its been a while since we have any further developments on the much anticipated Jurassic Park 4, the long-awaited follow-up to Jurassic Park 3, the third installment of Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster dinosaur franchise which was released way back in the summer of 2001. But today we are hearing that the movie has finally secured new writers. Universal Pictures have reportedly hired Rise of the Planet of the Apes screenwriters Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver to write Jurassic Park 4,

The previous three movies have grossed $1.9 billion worldwide. Though Spielberg won’t direct the new film, he will produce with Kathleen Kennedy. We don’t have any confirmed actors or release date yet but you can be sure that most of the original cast will return and now that there are new writers in place, development should start to pick up pace.
