Knocked Up to get a sequel – sort of

This news that Judd Apatow is planning on revisiting a couple of characters from the popular 2007 film Knocked Up featuring Seth Rogan, has been dug up by The Hollywood Reporter.

They have also revealed that Transformers star Megan Fox is in talks to join both Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann, who featured as husband and wife in the 2007 film for a new story involving the couple.

For the moment, Fox’s role is being kept under wraps, but don’t be surprised if she features as some kind of sexy young thing who offers a slice of fantasy escapism of sorts for Rudd’s older, repressed family man.

The main thing to take from this is that we might get some more classic Rudd comedy which I have missed over recent years. I hope that one day he has a movie that will give him the chance to show his legendary comedic acting skills that we saw in Anchorman way back in 2004, rather than being cast in these very stereotypical rom coms that he seems to be stuck in of late.

No release date or title of this “sort of” sequel as of yet.
